India Chapter

The India chapter of the Network Science Society formed in 2025.

Its vision is firmly rooted in the unification of Indian-based researchers who share interest in the world of networks. The goal is to foster a vibrant, cohesive, and all-encompassing community that thrives on diversity and inclusivity.

Network Science is inherently interdisciplinary, transcending the confines of traditional academic disciplines. It is in this spirit of cross-pollination that this chapter has been formed, with a commitment to breaking down disciplinary silos. We are dedicated to nurturing fruitful collaborations among our members, not only within the academic realm but also by forging meaningful connections with industry and various institutions across India.

The chapter organizes a range of activities such as a yearly general meeting, colloquia and public events designed to bridge the gap between experts and the wider community. To empower the interdisciplinary network science community in India by
